About Rhulin Farms - approach only
Rhulin Farms belongs to the rural Route 7 and Witcham Road approach outside central Derry. When entering town, it comes before the Bowers and Hanlon farms and the road’s transition into the familiar local network. References in 1958 and 1985 make it a regional waypoint rather than a detailed town property. The atlas places a farm symbol near the sheet edge to preserve the order of travel while acknowledging that the real narrative distance extends beyond the map’s local scale.
Why this pin is marked C
Proposed. The book leaves a gap; the point is the atlas’s proposal.
Level C reflects a reliable route sequence but weak local geometry. Route 7, the later Witcham Road approach and the order before Bowers and Hanlon establish which side of town the farms occupy. Stated regional distances cannot be represented literally on this compact sheet. The edge marker is therefore schematic: its coordinate, acreage, road frontage, buildings and spacing from the other farms are proposed, while its role as the outer waypoint is secure.
