About Derry Pumphouse #3

Derry Pumphouse Number 3 is a municipal sewage-pumping facility somewhere in the Barrens, one of the few formal pieces of city infrastructure embedded in the lowland in 1958. It belongs to the same service landscape as the dump and the drainage network, but it is not simply another name for every small cylinder along the riverbanks. The atlas places the facility downstream as a separate utility site, allowing the smaller entrances to retain their distinct roles in routes through the drains.

Why this pin is marked B

Inferred. Worked out from routes, distances and what stands next to it.

Level B reflects a secure identity but an uncertain position. The facility is named and explicitly located in the Barrens, yet the reviewed material supplies no street connection, bank, direction or distance that singles out its site. The downstream candidate is chosen to fit the reconstructed sewage system and remain separate from known access cylinders. Its coordinate, footprint, service road and underground links are proposals; only its municipal function and presence in the lowland are firm.
