Derry, Maine does not exist as a real municipality. This interactive map reconstructs the city from the novel IT, combining its principal periods of 1957–58 and 1984–85 with historical sites. Named streets, routes and neighboring landmarks form the framework; where the book does not identify an exact lot or coordinate, confidence levels distinguish a direct textual relationship from an inference or proposal.
Bangor helped shape Derry, but its real street grid has not been transferred here. The map represents the novel’s internal geography, not a canonical or surveyed town plan.
